Carburettor auto choke EF6600E

Mark Habitat
I need the vacuum auto choke for above model, in aus Yamaha reckon it's part of carburettor and don't sell seperate.  The pull mechanism broke off.  Looks like a weak point must be common issue.  Need help.

Thanks Mark

Mark, Is it fixable with J-B Weld or soldered on steel section from a food can?

Maybe, had  a mate look at it he has the capacity to do such things, thought heat would damage the diaphragm which can't be removed. Also the piston part needing repair very worn and even if a repair stuck looks like it cops a lot of movement and stress, probably wouldn't last long.  Can't believe it's not available seperate from carb, it unscrews and clearly is a weak point, designed obsolescence they beat apple to it thanks. Gen works just rough at start no choke.
